PIETERMARITZBURG police are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of the man pictured.

Police spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane said they believe that he can assist with information regarding an incident of fraud in Pietermaritzburg on August 26.

He said the man is alleged to have convinced a 31-year-old woman to deposit a R400 admin fee into an account, and promised to consolidate her debt, said Zwane.

He then disappeared with her money.

Police has appealed to anyone who can assist with information about his whereabouts or his identity to contact Detective Warrant Officer Clive van Wyk on 033 845 2753 or 076 622 6674 or Lieutenant-Colonel Naresh Nandhlal on 079 696 3712.
