ALMOST a month after he went missing, Dlangamandla Dangazela, who is described by his family as mentally ill, has still not been found.

He was reported missing by his mother on July 23.

The 22-year-old was last seen on Thursday, July 19, when he was brought by his cousins to Edendale Hospital to see a doctor.

He never returned home.

The hospital has no record of his visit. “Anything could have happened to him.

“He could be dead, he could still be alive,” said a worried Busisiwe Mtolo, Dlangazela’s aunt.

She said they have contacted all their relatives and no one knows where he is.

Dangazela is originally from Matatiele in the Eastern Cape, but had moved to kwaPata near Edendale.

He is of average build, dark in complexion and about 1,7 metres tall.

He has short black hair in an afro style and has a scar on his chest.

He was last seen wearing a pair of blue jeans, a blue long-sleeved shirt, a red jacket and brown boots.

Anyone who might know his whereabouts is asked to call the investigating officer, Detective Constable Leticia Chiya, of Plessislaer detective services at 033 398 9748 or

074 266 8191.
