Miss SA India: local beauties at Golden Horse

BEAUTY and brains will take centre stage at Golden Horse Casino’s Rockfellas Restaurant on June 25, when 20 women from all over the KZN midlands vie for the Miss India SA (Midlands) crown to secure a place in the national pageant in Durban later this year.

Chairperson of Miss SA India, Farook Khan, said yesterday that the event will be broadcast to 53 African countries.

Miss India SA, Bonita Sampath, will be present at the local event at the Golden Horse Casino.

The Miss India Worldwide pageant will take place in Abu Dabi in May.

Entries have been received from as far away as Newcastle and Dalton.
