2011-08-03 00:00

POLICE are looking for an 83-year-old woman, believed to have gone missing at Port Shepstone taxi rank last Saturday. Diniwe Cele, accompanied by her grandchild, went to the CBD to collect her pension.

Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid, said the child left the woman to go into a nearby shop to buy something and that when she returned she noticed that her grandmother was missing.

Eyewitnesses say she got tired of waiting and left. Cele is slender and light complexioned. Anyone with information can contact Rams Ramphul on 079 500 1251.
