Missing: Howick girl reunited with parents

2009-02-05 00:00

Bodien Mostert (16), the girl who went missing from her Howick home on January 23, has been found and reunited with her parents.

The story of the missing girl was published in The Witness on January 28 after the police and her parents made appeals to the public to come forward if they had any information regarding her whereabouts.

Police spokeswoman Inspector Joey Jeevan told The Witness yesterday that Mostert was found in Pretoria and a suspect was arrested by Howick detectives on charges of abduction.

He will appear in the Howick Magistrate’s Court today.
