Mom to tell how son’s near fatal accident changed her life

2011-03-04 00:00

MOTIVATIONAL speaker and accomplished Christian author Retha McPherson will be speaking at the Norwegian Settlers Church in Marburg today and tomorrow.

Since she and her family were involved in a near fatal car accident in 2004, McPherson has devoted her life to telling the story of how she nearly lost her eldest son, Aldo.

After the accident, Aldo was seriously injured and was in a coma for months.

She writes on her website, “Although my son, Aldo, suffered a severe brain injury due to a motor car accident, I can testify that God is good.

“He has awakened my spirit to Him and I’ve come to know Him as a holy God who wants my life, not only my heart.”

McPherson will be sharing her life story today from 6.30 pm – 9 pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm and again from 6.30 pm to 9 pm.
