THE billionaire grandson of oil tycoon J. Paul Getty is in the middle of a nasty divorce. His wife claims she needs millions to maintain her lifestyle, reports

Jacqueline Getty, who married Gordon Peter Getty Jnr in 2000, claims she needs at least $314 727 per month in spousal support so that she can continue to live in the style she has become accustomed to. Gordon Getty is the heir to the $2 billion Getty fortune.

The breakdown of some of Jacqueline Getty’s costs are: • $300 000 to $500 000 per year on clothing

• $50 000 for Halloween parties• $40 000 for birthday parties• Trips to the private Getty compound in Hawaii three to four times a year• Trips on the Getty private jet, a Boeing 737• A bed worth $1 000 000.
