A CHATSWORTH mother (38) and her two sons will appear in court today after they were arrested on Saturday for allegedly dealing in drugs.

They pounced on two premises that were identified as places where drugs are sold, said police spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane.

At the first premises, the members found a bag containing 356 straws of heroin to the street value of more than R8 900. In the bag there was also R17 015 of cash. The three suspects were arrested and charged with dealing in drugs. They will appear in the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court today.

At the second premises, more than R95 000 in bundles of cash, marked with the names of suspected drug dealers or runners, was found. No arrests were made, but investigations continue.
