Music on the hillside on Sunday

2008-07-18 00:00

Sunday’s concert begins at noon in the Pietermaritzburg Botanical Gardens, at the hillside on the western side.

Tickets are R60 for adults, R40 for students and pupils. Tickets can be purchased at the gate, which opens at 10 am, or at Parklane Spar.

The Red Door will be running a wine and malt bar, and food and soft drinks will be available for sale. Picnic hampers can be ordered in advance from the restaurant. To order, phone 033 344 2207.

The main entrance and car park (with car guards) of the gardens will be open for the public on the day.

As the venue is on a hill, it is recommended that people leave their picnic tables (and chairs) at home, but bring jackets and blankets to sit on.
