OVER 30 000 people flocked to the Royal Show for a weekend of good music and fun exhibitions.
Between the youth, Royal Symphony and RSG concerts there was music for all ages to enjoy.
The energetic performances of the Graeme Watkins Project and Lonehill Estate kept the crowd screaming and jumping at the youth concert.
Lonehill Estate’s lead singer Nathan Ro said the Maritzburg people “made us feel like we were at home, like we were performing for our family. I love it!”
Sama winner and BET nominee, Toya Delazy, rocked the crowd with her pumping music and show-stopping dancers. Diehard fan, Thola Mbhele, came to the show just to see Toya Delazy live. “I came all the way from Durban just for Toya Delazy. I skipped out on the big Chiefs game and the Africa Day concert to hear her perform. She is awesome.”
Yesterday, the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra, accompanied by guest artists Zanne Stapelberg, Federico Freschi and James Grace, entertained the crowds.
The plastic chairs then made space for dancing as the RSG concert kicked off, featuring five bands.
