N3: Construction to disrupt traffic

2010-08-02 00:00

TRAFFIC will be disrupted on south- and north-bound carriageways on the N3 in Pietermaritzburg because of extensive road construction today and tomorrow.

The carriageways have been reduced to one lane in both directions between the Chatterton off-ramp and Sanctuary Road on-ramp.

As engineers and surveyors continue with their work, the Sanctuary Road on-ramp will be completely closed between 9 am and 10.30 am. Between 11 am and 12.30 pm the fast lane will be closed from the Church Street offramp to the Manning Road overpass.

The north-bound carriageway will be reduced to one lane from Church Street on-ramp to the Sanctuary Road off-ramp near Liberty Midlands Mall from 8.30 am to midday today.
