Nappy pervert: no case

2009-08-28 00:00

THE NPA has decided not to prosecute a Durban man who allegedly recruited teenage girls on MXit to treat him like a baby and change his dirty nappies for a fee.

The 23-year-old man was arrested at his home on August 8 in a trap set after a 31-year-old mother received his SMS.

Superintendent Danelia Veldhuizen said the senior state prosecutor at Pinetown refused to prosecute him on a charge of crimen injuria.

Two days later, he was arrested again, but the prosecutor once again refused to prosecute the man.

Veldhuizen said the senior state prosecutor said there was no proof that the man committed a sexual or any other kind of crime.
