PSL changes dates for games

2014-04-26 00:00

THE Premier Soccer League (PSL) Executive Committee (EXCO) held its monthly meeting on Thursday in Johannesburg and took a decision to move some of this weekend’s matches.

Following deliberations, the PSL EXCO decided that in the interest of promoting the spirit of fair play, as many as possible of the second last Absa Premiership block fixtures will be played simultaneously on May 6. The fixtures will kick off at 7.30 pm.

Accordingly, all Absa Premiership fixtures scheduled for this weekend will be postponed with the exception of Orlando Pirates vs Platinum Stars and Free State Stars vs MP Black Aces.

PSL CEO, Brand de Villiers said, “This matter was placed before the PSL executive committee meeting following correspondence from a number of clubs.”
