Paarl Boys and Bishops rule at Michaelhouse

2011-01-14 00:00

YESTERDAY was the first really warm day for cricket this week. Unfortunately rain prevented a possible exciting end to the match between Hilton and St Johns at Michaelhouse.

Hilton were in a slightly better position, as St Johns still needed 48 runs in 7 overs with 3 wickets in hand. Michaelhouse and St Charles were both beaten comprehensively by Paarl Boys and Bishops respectively. Kearsney beat the rain and Peterhouse by 3 wickets. The results from Alex were not available but in two games involving local schools Carter won their third match, beating Weston and Howick beat Treverton by 3 wickets in a good game of cricket.
