Penile painter on show at KZN Sexpo

To be held at the ICC from February 7 to 10, 2008, Sexpo attracted over 32 000 visitors when it was held in Gauteng recently.

“South Africans have revealed their naughty natures,” says Expo Works Silas Howarth. “Sexpo Durbs is all about fun and experiencing life’s naughty side, escaping from the rat race for a few hours to indulge.”

Sexpo Durban has attracted more than 100 exhibitors and features a line up of adult entertainment, with Miss Nude Australia, Arianna Starr, as the master of ceremonies and British penile artist, Pricasso, sharing his unique artistic talent.

Several international adult stars will also take part and local celebrity acts will perform late into the night.

Expo Works this year conducted a survey that revealed that 15% of South Africans have a collection of naughty toys to spice up their sex life.

South African organiser Julie Swart said that Sexpo marries all forms of adult entertainment catering to South Africans’ saucier sides.

She said that 60% of women admitted to enjoying wearing sexy lingerie, while 30% think not wearing any underwear is sexy. Thirty percent of women voted for boxers as the sexiest underwear for men, but an equal number opted for briefs or tangas.

“South African adults are becoming more comfortable with their sensuality.”

The majority of those surveyed (65%) had sex once a week, 15% had sex once a month and 10% less than once a month.
