Perry also finks they’re zef, hey

DIE Antwoord’s latest music video Baby’s on Fire is still making waves a month after its release — nearly four million hits on Youtube and praise from across the world, including the likes of Katy Perry.

“The new Die Antwoord video for Baby’s On Fire is so incredible I can’t even tweet about it,” tweeted Perry earlier this week.

This is not the first time Perry has shown her liking of the controversial zef-rave group, nor is she the only celebrity to do so.

Fred Durst, frontman of Limp Bizkit, has also heaped praise on the zef duo, saying they are his new favourite group and that he applauds their abrasive style.

Co-directed by Die Antwoord’s frontman, Ninja, the video features him and his wife, Yo-Landi Vi$$er,as stereotypical lower-class siblings.

Lasting a full seven minutes, their off-the-wall, shock tactics joke with sex and drugs and celebrate the street cultures of biking and spinning.
