Police seek victim’s ID

THE police are investigating a murder of a man in Pietermaritz Street on Sunday night.

He was found lying on the pavement.

He is described as being about 35.

A R100 note was found in his possession.

Police said the man was wearing khaki shorts, a white shirt and black sneakers.

Anyone who can help to identify the man or with information about the murder is asked to call the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Robin Mays, at 033 845 2750 or 082 413 8474. Callers who wish to remain anonymous should phone Crime Stop on 08600 10111 toll-free.
