2012-11-05 00:00

A MAN will appear in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court today after he was allegedly caught with 11 stolen bank cards.

Nedbank ATM investigators arrested the 23-year-old man in Port Shepstone on Friday after placing cash machines under surveillance.

Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said the suspect was seen attempting to use different bank cards at different ATMs. He was taken into custody at 11 am near the taxi rank and handed to the Port Shepstone police.

Part of the investigation will include tracing the lawful owners of the cards and the circumstances which saw them taken, said Wiid.
