Pugnacious porker’s beer bender

2014-10-06 00:00

AFTER pigging out on close to 18 cans of beer, a feral pig caused quite the riot at an Australian campsite – and with drunken bravado also tried to pick a fight with a cow.

According to independent.co.uk, the “belligerent porker went on a drunken bender after stealing and drinking three six-packs of beer that had been left out by campers at the DeGrey River campsite in Port Hedland, Australia”.

It then went on to ransack rubbish bin bags, apparently in a hunt for munchies, before starting a fight with “an innocent eyewitness cow”.

When that did not end well, the pig swam out to the middle of the river, before collapsing drunk under a tree and falling asleep.

A camper told ABC network: “It was in the middle of the night and … people camping opposite us … heard this crunching of the can and they got their torch out and shone it on the pig and there he was scrunching away at their cans.” — WR.
