Queen Elzabeth: PMB park open

2010-04-21 00:00

FOLLOWING work on a water pipeline that blocked access to Queen Elizabeth Park, causing its temporary closure, the park on the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg is open once again, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife announced yesterday.

It reminded Maritzburgers that the park has some interesting walks, several picnic areas and is a popular venue for walking or jogging while viewing impala and zebra.

There is no entry fee, although visitors are required to obtain an access card from the security staff at the gate.
