YESTERDAY’S fifth and final day of pool play in the interprovincial hockey tournaments in Pretoria and Durban decided the SA U21 men and women semi-finalists.

In today’s women’s semi-finals at Queensmead, Kaspersky Southerns tackle Western Province at 4.30 pm while North West face Northern Blues at 6.30 pm.

In the men’s semi-finals at Tuks in Pretoria, Northern Blues meet Free State at 4.30 pm and KZN Raiders face Western Province at 6.30 pm.

There was disappointment for KZN Inland’s men’s team, who missed out on the semi-finals after a 6-3 defeat by Eastern Province. The KZN Inland women, like their men’s side, will be playing in the fifth to eighth place playoffs on Friday and Saturday.
