Ratt Race: for rattray foundation

2013-07-11 00:00

The Ratt Race, in memory of the late David Rattray, will take place in the battlefields of Northern KwaZulu-Natal next week.

The race aims to raise money for the David Rattray Foundation, which supports education initiatives, including 20 schools in KZN. ‘The Ratt Race was started by a bunch of our mates many years ago. We wanted to do something in honour of my late husband David, who did so much good while he was alive,’ said Rattray’s wife and Fugitives Drift owner Nicky Rattray. ‘Now, even in his death, he is still able to contribute to this community and continue to live through his foundation, making this world a better place to be,’ she said.
