Re-arrested: ex court Clerk flouts bail terms

A FORMER magistrates court clerk was re-arrested after failing to comply with her R3 000 bail conditions after she is alleged to have defrauded the Justice Department of over R380 000 from the court in Pietermaritzburg. Thulisile Aurelia Dube (34) was arrested yesterday in the Pietermaritzburg Regional court after she arrived at court.

Dube was accused along with her colleague Thamsanqa Nkosi (39) who has now died.

Dube had failed to appear in court previously and did not produce a medical report to say she was sick. Dube is alleged to have taken bail money. She will be back in court on October 12.
