Shamsi the Inland hero at Wanderers

GAUTENG’S Highveld Strikers were subjected to a KZN Inland fightback on day two of the Provincial Three-Day Challenge match at Wanderers in Johannesburg yesterday.

In reply to Inland’s first-innings total of 170, the Strikers’ total was 205 on the first innings and in reply KZN Inland were 179 for three at close of play.

Gauteng’s Keaton Jennings made 77 in their total while the Inland hero was Tabraiz Shamsi with three for 27.

In their reply Inland were on 179 for three at the close with Stefan Myburgh having made 59, Chad Barron 34 and Devon Conway on 50 not out.
