Sharks: Bok boys scoop 26 points in Italy Test

2008-06-23 00:00

Sharks rugby coach John Plumtree said he would not be looking to make unnecessary changes to his team for Friday night’s Currie Cup match against Boland at King’s Park (7.10 pm).

He said he is not a believer in rotating players and, with no injuries after the WP win, changes would be kept to a minimum. French Test flyhalf Frederic Michalak was at the game and Plumtree said he could be fit to play “in about two weeks”.

Meanwhile, the Sharks in the Bok team enjoyed a field day against Italy on Saturday, scoring all 26 points. Bismarck du Plessis crossed for two tries and Beast Mtawarira and Francois Steyn one each, with Steyn kicking three conversions.
