Sharks trends

TRENDINESS may not be a word in rugby guidelines, but Solé Salon and Spa in Victoria Road IS adding some style to today’s finals, so there is no need to break a nail in a scrum to be part of the game.

Malcolm Smith, manager and owner of Solé, said the vibe around the finals is huge and he has had clients coming in for crazy hairstyles and nailwork. Some clients have even tested Shark make-up designs.

“Every single client who comes in is talking about the game asking ‘who’s gonna win?’ and ‘who’s the best player?’

“Whether I’m at gym, squash or even having a beer at the bike shop, people are talking about the game... black, white, Indian, blue, old, young ... even people who don’t follow rugby. It’s just an amazing vibe.”
