Snappy: Croc’s jaws finally free

2008-08-10 00:00

A crocodile four metres long, whose jaws had been sealed with insulation tape, was finally captured by the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife at Lake St Lucia yesterday.

Capturing the crocodile was described as a “dangerous” task by KZN Wildlife spokesman Jeff Gaisford. He said the organisation had assistance from a commercial crocodile catcher and the KZN Wildlife staff from the Crocodile Centre near St Lucia.
