Spear moment: Picasso painting vandalised

South African painter Brett Murray and Pablo Picasso can now be mentioned in the same breath, after an unknown man on Tuesday painted over the work of the famous Spanish artist’s work. A young man entered the Menil art gallery in Houston, U.S., and spraypainted the shape of a bull over the 80-year-old Woman in a Red Chair one of the nine Picasso painting on diplay. A visitor filmed the vandalism on a cellpone and loaded in on YouTube. The grafitti artist fled. The painting has since been restored.
