2009-10-02 00:00

THE Splayed Ferrets is a band that specialises in seventies-style rock.

The members — who all performed in that decade (hence their youthful appearances) — are Martin Gee Godfrey (lead vocals), Paul de Fleuriot (lead guitar and backing vocals), Barry Meintjes (bass), Jimmy Florence (keyboards) and Chris Palframan (drums and backing vocals).

If you are a fan of classic rock as played by the likes of iconic rockers Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, Uriah Heep and Black Sabbath, then head on out to hear the Splayed Ferrets performing live at The Red Door tomorrow from 8 pm. R20 gets you in.

The Red Door is at 5 Quarry Road, off Victoria Road, Pietermaritzburg.
