Squash: Upsets in Pietermaritzburg Medi-Clinic men's first league

THERE were a number of upsets last week in the Pietermaritzburg Medi-Clinic men’s first league squash.

Bottom-of-the-log Eston did extremely well to beat third-placed Country Club 9-8, Protea won 7-6 against fifth-placed Golf Club and Michaelhouse I drew 9-9 with second-placed Collegians.

Varsity, after their solid 12-3 win over Howick, have now moved into third place.

Log leaders Lynwood had an exciting battle with Michaelhouse II and eventually won 9-8.
