More than 800 pupils and adults from 24 countries participate in the championships and the pair were part of South Africa’s four-person team.

One of the others, Byron van Gool from the Discovery Scout Group Sport Stacking Club in Roodepoort, won three medals.

Thabiso (12) and Tashvir (11) managed to achieve positions 58 and 79 respectively in the overall tournament world ranking.
