Stars reveal their wishes

Terrence Pillay

Local socialite and journalist Terrence Pillay said he wanted practical things for Christmas.

“How about a voucher so that someone would do my ironing for a week?” he asked.

“Or maybe a voucher for someone to drive me around for a week,” he said, adding that he hated driving.

On a serious note, he said that he has all he wants for Christmas and that’s to spend it with family.

Jayloshnie Naidoo

Actress and presenter Jayloshnie Naidoo revealed that she will be starting her own production company in the new year and she prays that it lifts off.

“That’s all I want for Christmas — to make my project thrive,” said the busy woman.

Naidoo said that she travels and works throughout the year and she too looks forward to family time.

“But if there was one thing I would really like it would be a helmet, so that when I get up in the morning, put it on — it does my hair and make up and hey presto, I’m ready for work.”

Tatum Keshwar

Tatum Keshwar, a former Miss South Africa and Top Billing presenter just wants to be away from the “commercial buzz” and be with her family for Christmas.

“As a Catholic, I look forward to spending time enjoying the true meaning of Christmas in church and, of course, a huge Christmas lunch in Durban with my family,” the beauty queen said.

Derek Watts

Carte Blanche presenter, Derek Watts said that he always wanted a model helicopter, but for some reason his wife never got him one.

“I pray that she reads this and takes the hint,” the friendly giant said.

Watts said that he would ask for a corruption-free South Africa, but “that may be asking for a bit much”.

“But really, I wish for a safer country with happy and peace loving people,” he said.
