Sufficient parking for all at the Symphony in the City

2013-10-18 00:00

PATRONS at the annual Symphony in the City concert, which takes place tomorrow, will have sufficient secure parking and easy access to the city hall.

Chief Albert Luthuli Street remains closed between Church and Langalibalele Street as does the main entrance to the city hall.

Access to the city hall will be via the two side entrances on Church Street and via the councillors’ car park accessed through the library parking.

Elderly and disabled patrons will have access to the city hall via the service ramp on the councillors’ car park side of the hall. There is parking on Church Street between Chief Albert Luthuli Street and Otto Street, behind the library and on Market Square. Security staff will be on duty to monitor these areas.

The concert starts at 7.30 pm, which should allow sufficient time for the vast number of rugby supporters to watch the Sharks take on the Cheetahs and still make the concert.

The Symphony in the City is presented by Parklane SuperSpar in association with the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra and Christopher Duigan’s Music Revival. Tickets cost R100 to R160 from Dulce Coffee Shop at Parklane SuperSpar on 033 342 3487.
