Sunfoil Series: Last outing at Maritzburg oval

2013-02-26 00:00

THIS is the last week where there will be school’s cricket at the Maritzburg Oval in the Sunfoil Series.

This afternoon St Charles will play Hilton in a dead rubber affair as it is virtually impossible for St Charles to reach the final. They will have to beat Hilton with a bonus point and in addition improve their run rate.

The game that will decide the second finalist takes place tomorrow when College play against Michaelhouse with the sides tied on nine points.

Hilton are currently sharing the trophy with College after last year’s final was upset by rain. The final is scheduled for Thursday and if it rains that night without a winner being established, the final will be on Friday night.
