Teams selected for December tournies

AFTER a series of trials in the various age groups, teams have been selected to represent KwaZulu-Natal at the South African Schools’ Water Polo tournaments in Gauteng in December­. U19 boys’ and girls’ names had not been received at the time of going to press. The U19 final trials were held last Friday.

The U16 teams have seven Maritzburg College players and six from Kearsney selected, while in the one U15 side (Colts) there are four boys each from Hilton and College chosen. In the U14 Hilton have six players selected with five from Kearsney. This is obviously where the strength in waterpolo will lie for the next few years.
