The ‘Witness’ Bridal Couple of the Year

2008-11-12 00:00

Wedding season is well under way, and with it, the launch of the new-look Witness competition that features bridal couples from all over the region.

The popular competition, which runs every alternate Friday, has attracted thousands of entries over the years, and with great prizes to be won in the grand finale, it’s little wonder that the event has maintained its popularity.

Every month a winning couple is selected from the entries submitted to the paper. These winning couples go into the final at the annual Witness Bridal Extravaganza, which is held at the end of June each year. The competition is even more attractive with the new prizes up for grabs this year.

From November, each winning couple will receive a R2 000 gift voucher from Save Cash and Carry in Victoria Road in Pietermaritzburg and a free two-night stay at Mondazur Estate Hotel on the south coast. The voucher can be used for anything at Save, from appliances and computers to groceries

The winners of the Bridal Competition of the Year will win a holiday for two, including air fares to and hotel accommodation in Mauritius, and a week’s holiday in a villa at Mondazur.

So, if you’re engaged or just married, make sure you submit your photograph to the Witness Bridal Couple of the Year competition. Who knows, you could be spending your next holiday in Mauritius, courtesy of Royal Travel.
