NEXT week, United States rock gospel band Third Day jets in to South Africa for the band’s inaugural tour of the country. Bass player Tai Anderson, ahead of the band’s arrival, said: “Mark [guitarist] and I travelled to Durban a few years ago to work on a Habitat For Humanity project.

“We fell in love with the country, and were surprised to discover that there were quite a few Third Day fans eager to hear the band perform in their country.

“We are so excited to return to South Africa with our band mates and promise to do our part to make it worth the wait for all of our fans.”

Third Day will be performing at the Wavehouse in Gateway (Umhlanga) on November 5, along with supporting act Andrew Webster and guest speaker Angus Buchan. The event starts at 7 pm.

Tickets from R150 to R250, are available at www.itickets. or at the Wavehouse, Diva (Pavilion) or Kwikspar (Hillcrest). For more details visit or phone 082 619 3569.
