Three friends realise their dream

2008-05-30 00:00

P.M.B. Tool Centre was opened a year ago by three friends who had been planning their venture for seven years. They admit that they had to face many obstacles before they realised their dream but their patience and determination finally paid off when on May 1, 2007, partners Marlin Govender, Ravesh Rubychand and Evan Govender opened P.M.B. Tool Centre in Boom Street.

The three founders have a combined 50 years’ experience in the automotive, industrial engineering and hardware field. They believe that it is this wealth of industry experience and their excellent service that sets them apart. Their vision is to serve the industrial and DIY industry with excellent prices and exceptional service. They also provide a 24-hour delivery service that supplies Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas with fully guaranteed quality tools. Their employees receive the best training and updated information on the tool and hardware industry which is provided by regular visits to tool exhibitions and they are approved agents for Afrox, Gedore and Kingtony, as well as Makita, Metabo, Hitachi and Maktec power tools.

P.M.B. Tool Centre aims to provide a service that achieves the highest standards in customer satisfaction. “We at P.M.B. Tool Centre are proud to say that we are a professionally run business that is flourishing, and would like to thank God, our loyal customers, suppliers, friends and family for all the support they have given us over the past year and that they continue to give us,” they said.
