Trials: Damp weather thwarts earlier efforts

KWAZULU-NATAL Inland selectors last week requested a number of players to attend further trials for U19 and U17 Inland teams to enable a reduced list to be selected for the final trials before the teams to represent KZN Inland are announced.

The damp weather has thwarted earlier efforts and it is hoped that the players listed will have an opportunity to show their abilities in the nets at St Charles on October 30.

Players are requested to be ready to start the trials at 3 pm and are requested not to be late.

Players from the Friday trial will then be informed who will be playing in the final trial on Sunday 1st November 1 on Harwin field at St Charles. In addition to the players selected on Friday, the following will be attending the trials only on Sunday.

There will also be nominees at the trials from Northern KZN.

A levy of R35 is payable per player and if it is not received ahead of the trials the players will not be able to participate.
