2011-01-03 00:00

SEASON five of The Tyra Banks Show gets under way on SABC3 today at 11 am.

In the new series the talk show host encourages her audience to fully embrace who they are and celebrate both their inner and outer beauty. To prove her point, Banks sheds her weaves and rocks her real hair.

She also continues to have open discussions with her audience about the decisions they make in their relationships, the challenges they face with continued body-image pressure to be thin and beautiful, and the decisions they are often forced to make about sex, pregnancy, marriage and divorce. Watch The Tyra Banks Show Monday to Friday.

Fans of the Discovery Channel (DStv channel 121) have a new treat in store. From 8 pm today and every day until January 7, viewers will be given a sneak peek at what the channel has in store for 2011.
