Unknown man dead in street

A MAN’S body has been found in Mkondeni area, hardly a week after a woman’s body was found near the Harry Gwala stadium.

Senior Superintendent Henry Budhram said a caller alerted police about the body, lying on the corner of Shortts Retreat and Yarbourgh roads on Saturday afternoon.

Budhram said the man, whose age is estimated at 27, had been stabbed.

The boyfriend of the woman whose body was found at Harry Gwala last week is still missing.

The murdered woman was Senzekile Shange from Dambuza, who was last seen at home after she went to visit her boyfriend in Sobantu on January 19. Her sister identified her body last Friday.
