2011-05-06 00:00

THE Sharks XV take on the Pampas XV in tomorrow’s Vodacom Cup semi-final in Potchefstroom Sean Everitt has been forced, and to make a number of changes.

The Sharks XV beat Western Province in last week’s quarter-final and face another unbeaten team in the Argentinian outfit.

Unfortunately, a number of players have been ruled out by injury or the eligibility regulations, which rule out players, like Jacques-Louis Potgieter, and Anton Bresler, who have seen action in four or more Super Rugby games.

There are three personnel changes in the back line and four in the pack.

Wing Sbura Sithole is out, opening the door for Rosko Specman to start, with Kobus de Kock returning to the side as back-up off the bench.

Twins Guy and Ross Cronjé are back to fill the halfback pairing, with Cobus Reinach reverting to the bench.

The back row has undergone a change with Daniel Adonga getting a start and Francois Kleinhans shifting from flank to eighth man, while Ross Skeate will partner Jandre Marias at lock.

With John Smit out of the Sharks side with a calf strain, hooker Craig Burden will play a role for the senior side with Kyle Cooper starting.

The match kicks off at 4.30 pm and will be broadcast live on SS1.
