BISHOPS and Kearsney were unbeaten at the Independent Schools Festival at Michaelhouse this week.

Kearsney’s Mark Airey and R. Anderson from Michaelhouse scored the first centuries of the festival and Craig Kirsten from Kearsney took his second five-wicket haul.

Two Voortrekker batsmen made merry against the under-par Lilyfontein attack, with Kyle Rossouw and Marco Rossouw both reaching three figures and together with an 80 from Johan Ungerer enabling Voortrekker to reach a massive 424 for 6 in 50 overs.
