Wags: Sun City-bound despite Capello ban

THE England team’s wives and girlfriends (Wags) will move in to Sun City for the Fifa World Cup tournament, in defiance of coach Fabio Capello’s bid to ban them.

The Sun reports the likes of Victoria Beckham, Coleen Rooney and Alex Gerrard will be among the guests.

The conduct of the Wags made headlines four years ago at the World Cup finals in Germany. The Sun quotes Sun City manager Gert Venter as saying: “We will be getting some high-profile wives and girlfriends during the World Cup.

The resort’s Desert Suite costs R60 000 a night.
