Wanted in ladysmith

2015-02-27 00:00

THREE men accused of two counts of rape in Ladysmith are being sought by police.

Police spokesperson Colonel Jay Naicker said in the one case on January 10, 2015, a 37-year-old woman was given a lift in a grey vehicle travelling from Estcourt and after the suspect dropped three other people off, he stopped the vehicle along the R103 near Ladysmith and allegedly raped the woman at knifepoint.

In the other case, on November 30 last year, a 23-year-old woman was dragged into the nearby reeds and raped by two men in Dry Road, said Naicker.
