In the opening episode, the two men meet mother and daughter Jill and Riley White while celebrating their 5 000th surgery. Christian is attracted to Riley, but ever since his break-up with Kimber, he hasn’t been able to have a stable relationship.

He decides to consult a therapist about the direction his life has taken and the sessions bring up some interesting questions about his relationship with Sean.
