Women’s Breakfast: top dancer lined up

2011-08-24 00:00

WOMEN who attend The Witness Women’s Breakfast this Friday at Sinodale Centre will not only hear speeches but will be entertained by the soul fusion dancer Judy Umraw.

Umraw has choreographed a dance called The Caterpillar Becomes a Butterfly, with the message that the trials and tribulations of life should not keep you in a cocoon, but that you have the power to dance through these changes and emerge beautifully like a butterfly.

If you want to see Umraw’s moves and listen to three top speakers — Dorah Sitole, Iris Francis and Captain Laura Ilunga — make sure you book your seat as soon as possible.

Call Mary-Lynn at The Witness at 033 355 1110. The ticket costs R120 and includes tea, coffee and a muffin on arrival, a mid-morning finger breakfast and a goody bag. There are also great prizes to be won in lucky draws. The event starts at 8 am for 8.30 am and runs until noon.

Winners of double tickets for The Witness Women’s Breakfast are: Chardonnay Rustin, Trusha Sivgobin, Lungile Buthelezi, Ntombi Duma and Kamesha Achari.

You will be notified via telephone about details of your prizes.
