You can help: donate to singatha fund to buy uniforms for needy kids

2008-11-23 00:00

The Children in Distress Network (Cindi) has launched its annual Singatha appeal for school uniforms to help families in Pietermaritzburg and the midlands who cannot affford uniforms for their children.

Because of the stigma attached to not having a school uniform, most of the children do not attend school, so a uniform could be the difference between having an education and missing out on school.

Uniforms cost about R500 per child, but every cent you donate helps.

Donations can be made to The Children in Distress Network, Nedbank current account number 1343 074959, Cascades branch (code 134 325).

Please put your name and contact details as a reference on the deposit so that Cindi can thank you.
