Zuma in DRC: leaders review co-operation in key areas

PRESIDENT Joseph Kabila welcomes President Jacob Zuma to the governor's residence in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

President Zuma is leading a delegation to the seventh session of the bi-national commission between South Africa and the DRC.

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation said the heads of state are expected to review progress on the implementation of bilateral projects that focus on key areas of co-operation.

These include energy, mining, agriculture, economic and security co-operation, plus initiatives aimed at institutional capacity building.
