THE Cannondale Vredestein team of Jakob Fuglsang (Denmark) and Roel Paulissen (Belgium) rode away with the overall honours after a testing eight days in the saddle in South Africa’s toughest mountain bike stage race, the Absa Cape Epic.

Following the Bulls 0,03 seconds later were Germans Hannes Genze and Jochen Kaess of Alb-Gold Mountainbike. They finished fourth overall at 36:28,35.
